What happens to existing attachments if attachments are disabled?

Hi,

For security reasons, we want to prevent people from uploading attachments in JIRA issues from now on. However, we have a great number of existing attachments that we use. I want to know what happens to existing attachments once the "Disable Attachments" option is selected. Will it prevent users from accessing existing attachments or only prevent the upload of new attachments?

Hi Nicolas,

if you disable attachments your current attachments stay the same. You are able to download or delete them. But not to upload another attachment. - just tested.
