I am using @ and users names but they are not getting email notifications.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately you'll need to ask each of your collaborators to raise their own questions so we can properly troubleshoot this issue, but as a first step, I would ask you to ask them to check their spam folders, and make sure they've whitelisted the trello.com domain.
