Increase Session time confluence.

Hi All,

confluence is not running as expected.

few page's take lot of time to open and while saving are throwing null pointer exceptions.

i am planning to increase session time out.

please let me know what impact when i will increase session.

Long page loads and null pointers on saving are symptoms of something being wrong with the system, and you need to investigate that.

Increasing the session timeout will not solve the problem - they could make it worse as more sessions will hang around waiting for data. It might help end users a bit, but you really need to look at load, performance, networking and so-on - find the root cause of the slowness and fix that.
