Merge two JIRA projects

What is the best way to merge two JIRA projects and what are the steps involved in migrating? like custom fields,roles etc..

Can the backlog prioritization,ranking and epics can be migrated as is?

JIRA version:6.4.12 server

Are you merging two projects that exist in the same JIRA server instance?
