JIRA Issues Macro for Confluence

Hello Guys.

Maybe anyone had the same or similar problem and can help me.

I have Jira (on port 8081) and Confluence (8090 on the another server/domain )

I am tring use "JIRA Issues Macro" for display issues from that remote Jira,

but I am still getting timeout:

The host did not accept the connection within timeout of 10000

class org.apache.commons.httpclient.ConnectTimeoutException

My Confluece is set to enable for Remote API Calls and remote JIRA also allow for it.

I am also added Confluence to list of trusted applications on JIRA. (outgoing)

Where:

IP Patterns: IP of Remote Confuence

and

URL Patterns: /plugins/servlet/issue-retriever

(Beocuse I have diagnosed Confluece using this servlet for taking data)

What else I can set or check ?

Hi Mik,

Best way to start is to check your atlassian-jira.log and atlassian-confluence.log which is located in <<Atlassian_App_Home_Directory>>/logs/.

Use context path for both Confluence and JIRA to avoid mixed session between both product, and try to use "OAuth" instead of "Trusted Application" for both "Application Links" integration and see how it goes.
