I cannot close a jira ticket

I cannot close a jira ticket because the option is not showed. Neither it's showed "Initial" or similar...

Hi Ana - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Most likely it is because there are Conditions on the transition to those Statuses in the workflow. Take a look there and see what Condition is not being met for the Status to show up.

Hello there! 
Checking the workflow is the best way to try and understand why you can't close the item right away, perhaps you have to transition through different status before closing an item.

Try asking your admin how the workflow works.

There are few reasons, why you may not see the next status

* It is possible that your userid may not have permission to transition the issue to next status
* Some conditions are not meeting due to which transition remains hidden.

Ask your jira admin what restrictions they have placed on the transition and go from there
