Mappping Weblinks to Custom Fields

Question

Hello!

I am using the Weblink section to add links to my issues such as Figma, PRD, MRD.

In most cases I have 3 URLs under the web link section of an issue. Now, I wish to separate these links into different URL Custom Fields in Jira.

How can I map the 3 links under the web link section to the corresponding Custom Fields I just created:

Figma Link

PRD

MRD

And Is this even possible ?

I have thousands of items with this case.... Any comment will REALLY HELP.

Looking at jira.atlassian.com, including web links in the issue navigator columns has been a feature request for over ten years, so I'm not expecting that feature any time soon.

You might get what you want by querying remote issue links using the REST API. It would take some scripting chops to get it done, but it's doable.

It really is a great example!

I've tried that but i don't seem to get the "Web Links" column in the CSV... I downloaded one with all fields included.

I also tried searching the CSV for "figma" and nothing came up.

Any suggestions?
