Set Company Hub as the default Confluence landing page for end users

Hi Community!

We are introducing the ability to set your Company Hub as the default landing page when users log into Confluence.

To set up Company Hub as the Confluence landing page:

Go to Product Settings
Go to Settings > Configuration > General Configuration
Locate the dropdown under Confluence landing page
Open the dropdown and select Company Hub
Scroll down and click the Save configuration changes blue button to save your changes.
And voila! All end users who log into Confluence should see Company Hub as their default landing page.

Would really like to 'show/don't show' option, to allow admins in standard to hide option given it's not available. I changed name to 'NA' to avoid assumptions but still takes up room that is not necessary.

I love having more options for the default landing page. A good "home" is crucial for the user experience and the quick navigation to important information and links.

Thanks to changing our landing page to the Company Hub, I can now greet all users with important legal and governance information, links to support ticket forms, and reminders of our Knowledge Management goals, all in a visually delightful package.

Finally we started using the Company Hub and marketing has been hard at work to make it in to something special.
Over the past 2 months it was being built up. Now that it's 'launch day' the Company Hub is suddenly not available anymore to be set as landing page?!

Why was this feature removed? What was causing this feature to be problematic? It's just a simple redirect. Disappointing choice to remove it so quickly, really.

And the "Next few weeks", how long can we expect this feature to stay 'removed'?

Any news here? The whole point of a Company Hub must surely be to not have to search for it or choose it, but have it appear as the landing page?

+1 to this. I fully agree with the points above.

For us, the main value of the Company Hub is exactly that it can be used as a landing page - otherwise it loses a big part of its purpose.

Do you have any updates on when (or if) this functionality will return, and what the current timeline looks like?

I was disappointed to see this functionality had been removed.

Ideally, the flow would be:
-> All users, licensed or unlicensed, that are in the company domain are directed to the Company Hub from any Confluence link.
-> Licensed users can "dismiss" the Company Hub for <time> (2 weeks? 1 month?). After dismissing, links would proceed normally to destinations for that user, and their landing page would be (for now) the For You page.
-> Unlicensed users would be directed (as they are currently) to the CORRECT LICENSE REQUEST by company hub content.

How it works today:
-> Licensed users do not see the Company Hub because there is no reason for them to end up there except accidentally.

-> Unlicensed users go to Confluence via links to pages or spaces. They are immediately greeted by a message that I can't change or modify to Request Access. This sends me an e-mail and now I have to (formerly manually, I have built automations to help with this) reach out to the user and show them how to submit the correct ticket in JSM.

Confluence developers have a real chance to make the platform much more seamless and modernized as they make sweeping changes to Atlassian as a whole. The Company Hub had a lot of potential and I hope it returns in a better, more customizable format.

(I also hope they eventually allow admins to modify, completely, the Request Access functionality, but that's a tangent.)

@Morgan Wang may we know if this feature is back? This is actually a very nice feature to have. We are about to launch our intranet in Confluence as well. If this is put back, it will be extremely helpful.

This is not available any longer and not wroking. We put a lot of effort preparing the hub with the goal to make it default with a short url. What's the point of having a Company Hub if it's not able to be the actual hub?

Can you guys please prioritize and fix this this and provide ETA?

Removing this ability doesn't make any sense.

Also as a side node, the landing page isn't the same as the default space in data center. It just pins / opens the space home page. Everything else like the sidebar with all the content from the company intranet, blogs, etc. are not visible at all. Only when a user clicks spaces in the navigation and browses to the space itself.

With the company hub as a single page set also as landing page it was easy to workaround that UX decision.

We are new in Trans2Cloud project. I tried to implement it but in the general configuration there is no possibility to select it, only Confluence Home and other spaces I created.
But I also created a Company hub with access for all confluence-users.
What else could be the reason not possible to select Company Hub in configuration?

Hey, @Gilbert Stein! 👋 The option to select Company Hub as the Confluence landing page from General Configuration was removed with the new Company Hub navigation changes in March 2026.
