Automation: Moving Cards From One List To Another

I have a board that I am utilising for the workflow of controlled documents review. I would like to set up an automation that moves a card from one list to another when the due date has been reached. I have been trying to work through the automation on the board, but I cannot see a function that particularly satisfies this requirement.

Hi Manon,

Thank you for the reply. I did manage to do more research and find this automation function. Below are screen shots of the automation I have set up.

I am finding that the automation does not take effect on board though. This is for existing cards or new cards. For more context, I have added a new card for each and every controlled document in our business. Some of them are current (review is not overdue), and some of them are overdue at point of being added.

How often does the board action the automation task? If the automation trigger says as soon as it becomes due, I would expect that to be occurring regularly. I have set up 2 test cards that are showing as overdue and neither has been actioned according to automation rule. One was added before I set up automation and the other was added after the automation was set up.

Would the automation below match your requirements?

* In the Automation window, select 'Due date' > Create automation
* Click 'Add trigger'
* Select the 'The moment the card is due' trigger
* Add any triggers you need
