Create complex report?

Hello,

I have just started to work on evaluations with JIRA.

I have the following requirement:

In JIRA, I created elements of the typ=story. I linked these story to components and sprints. I created elements of the type=test from test management for the story.

Now I want to create a report that has the following structure (table):

Sprint | Component | Story | Test (with a filter Test Status=FAIL)

Do I solve such a requirement in JIRA or in Confluence? And how?

Hi @Michael Freitter , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.

I agree with @Marc -Devoteam- , that it won't be possible, without an app, to create a custom report like this.

You could, however, have something like this in a dashboard if you create a JQL filter for the issues, you could display your data in a table like this

But it wouldn't be something that you could access / run from within the project / report section. If you don't have the budget for a reporting app, a dashboard with different gadgets and filters could work but it depends on your requirements.

Welcome to the community.

No this can't be solved in Jira.

Your question is BI related, you will need to use the API to get the data out (maybe even multiple api's as you mention test management that has its own API), or a 3rd party app that is able to export data to your BI toll like PowerBi, Tableau or other.

That 3rd party would need to support the test management app as will to get that data out.
