Statuspage Metrics

Hi,

I'm looking into creating a metrics framework for Incident Management and I was looking into what level of reporting is available within Statuspage. I was reviewing the supporting documentation and haven't been able to create/add a custom metric that doesn't point to an external data source. When I select the option to add a metric, I only see the below in the drop-down. 

I'll submit my own data for this metric

 

Does anyone know if is possible to report out of Statuspage or a way to create a custom metric that points to the data within Statuspage? For example, if I wanted to create a metric that reports on number of incidents per component, is that possible?

Statuspage does not currently offer the ability to create metrics that report on internal data, such as the number of incidents per component. The platform is primarily designed to display status updates, incidents, and metrics derived from external sources or manually submitted data.

If you want to generate metrics based on internal data, like tracking the number of incidents per component, you would need to use external tools. A common approach is to export your incident data from Statuspage using the API. Once exported, you can process and analyze the data in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI. These tools can help you build the metrics and reports tailored to your specific needs.
