Drop Down Boxes for ConfiForms - Populate using excel

Hi,

I am creating a form for users to submit an application. I have a large number of accounts that i want to list in a drop-down box and have the user select their option. 

Currently the only way i figured out how to do this is manually, but is there a way to have the drop-down option link to an excel column with all of the data, and the user can open the drop down and select the option from an excel column, click and save the selection?

If not, is there another way I can set this up? I have over 600+ accounts i have to add.

There are multiple ways of doing something like this

1. Creating a form and importing and excel via https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Import+API into that form and then having a "smart field" (dropdown/multiselect/etc) in your original form that is configured to use the data from the form where the excel file data has been imported
2. Use the excel directly through the web-service dropdown/multiselect/etc field - https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Using+Excel+files+as+sources+for+ConfiForms+fields Uploading it as an attachment and then configuring the field as explained in the link above
