Hello,
We have a user within our Confluence instance that isn't able to edit documents when she clicks on the edit in office button. The only thing attached to the page is a single word document. She was able to do this as of last month but then on January 16th her ability to use this feature was gone. I had her go back and click on one of the previous word documents she was able to edit in December and her ability was gone there also. She is in the confluence-user group and that group has permission to view, add and restrict pages, add comments, and add attachments to the space. Other fellow employees that work around and edit these documents don't have any issues with this. They all are confluence-user group.
The error I am seeing in the log file is this:
2015-01-20 12:45:01,884 WARN [http-nio-8543-exec-19] [atlassian.seraph.auth.DefaultAuthenticator] login login : 'user' tried to login but they do not have USE permission or weren't found. Deleting remember me cookie.
2015-01-20 12:45:04,490 INFO [http-nio-8543-exec-12] [confluence.security.login.DefaultLoginManager] recordLoginFailure
Failed login attempt for user 'user':
Request URL: url
User-Agent: Microsoft Office Protocol Discovery
Remote Address: n/a
So am I missing something here or what? How come other employees in the same section can use the edit in office functionality but just this one user can't?
Any information or help on this issue is greatly appreciated. If need more information just ask.
