How can I change the gadget created vs resolved to use status = QA

Question

We have our defect status for resolved (ready for qa to test) set to QA.  I would like to be able to create a query (to be used in the Created vs Resolved gadget) that shows the rate at when defects were created vs resolved (or in our case QA).

Any help would be appreciated.

With our add-ons Great Gadgets for Jira Server and  Great Gadgets for Jira Cloud you can have a Created vs Resolved chart on your dashboard that is based on status. You can  specify what "done" means in term of statuses.

In the 10 gadgets offered by the add-on, there is a Release Burndown / Burnup Chart gadget than can be easily configured as Created vs Resolved Chart. Just take a look at this example.

The gadget is built in so you'd have to modify source code. I suggest you create your own search and share it.
