Is there a way to change the over all color setting's in Trello workspaces?

Julie Bille

Hi!
Is there a way to change the over all color settings in the first page where workspaces and boards are organised.

Also in the individual workspaces themselves,  can you change background of the workspaces.

My workspaces are all a bit dull and boring in colors. And so far I didn’t find a way to change background and board colors.

Did I miss something?

Hi Julie!

Currently, Trello provides some customization options for board backgrounds, but the overall customization of the workspace home page (where your workspaces and boards are organized) is limited. Here’s a breakdown:

1. Board Backgrounds: You can change the background of individual Trello boards. To do this, open a board, click on the three-dot menu (top right), and select "Change Background". You can choose from colors, photos, or integrate with Trello Gold for more options.

2. Workspace Home Page: Unfortunately, Trello doesn't offer native options to customize the colors or backgrounds of the overall workspace view. This area typically has a uniform, clean look.

3. Ideas for Workspace Refresh: If you're looking to boost creativity and productivity, consider mixing up your work environment outside of Trello. For instance, stepping out for a change of scenery—like using services such as DC Car Service for a comfortable, distraction-free ride—can sometimes spark fresh ideas and perspectives.

4. Power-Ups & Browser Extensions: For more control over visuals, browser extensions like Stylus can help customize how websites look on your end.

Hopefully, Trello adds more comprehensive workspace customization features soon. For now, individual board backgrounds are your best option for color customization.

Hope this helps! 😊
