Trouble attaching a file in Confluence

Hi,

 

I'm having trouble attaching a file in Confluence. While I can see the edit option on previous months' pages, I'm unable to find the option to search for and specify the file path on the current page. Any guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

You have not specified whether you are using Confluence Cloud or Data Center.

If you are using Cloud, you can start with this page in the documentation and proceed based on the type of file you are trying to upload: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/upload-and-manage-files/ (You must have Add Attachment permissions in the space.)

For Data Center, select the version of Data Center that you are using in the Data Center dropdown at the top of the Cloud page linked above to find an equivalent page for DC.
