How to disable the "Add new Customer" option from the portal?

Hello, I have a problem. A user can create a new account in JSM by themselves; they can do this on the portal using "Add new Customer." Could you please clarify how the "Add new Customer" feature works, how it can be restricted, and whether there will be any conflict with Active Directory and already created users?

To disable public signup in Jira Service Management, you'll need to adjust site-wide settings rather than project-specific ones. Here’s how to find the option:

* Go to Site Administration:

* From the main Jira Service Management settings, navigate to Atlassian Admin by clicking on the Settings icon (gear icon) and selecting User management.

* Access Product Access Settings:

* In the User management section, go to Settings on the left side, then look for Product access.

* Disable Public Signup:

* Locate the option that controls Public signup or Allow customers to create accounts. Here, you can disable the setting to prevent users from signing up on their own.

Once disabled, only admins will be able to add users, and no one will be able to create accounts from the portal.
