After installing the add-on and configuring an IP address without choosing to white- or blacklist the IP, i t became impossible to do a login in Jira.
Any suggestions?
Hi Olav,
yes there should be a way to do it. You have to identify the server config table in your database.
This table is named AO_<hash>_SERVER_CONFIG while <hash> is a 6 digit hash value. (e.g. AO_1D83D9_SERVER_CONFIG).
In this table you will find one record, containing the config for the plugin. And there should be a column called two_factor_auth_active, or something a like. Set the value to false. After starting Jira, the plugin should be disabled and you should be able to login with username and password.
Regards,Alexander
update AO_XXXXXX_SERVER_CONFIG set IP_WHITE_LIST = nullSolved the problem. No need to restart.Entering information in the IP field without selecting black- or whitelist triggers an exception.
I am glad this solved the issue. I will give this issue to the development team, in order to prevent this type of misconfiguration in the future.
