Confluence plugin for space- or page-level variables?

Question

Adobe FrameMaker and MadCap Flare have variable features that allow you to reuse content (as you can in Confluence with the Excerpt,  Excerpt Include, and Include Page macros) and have such things such as product names and release versions change to match the current project.

Is there anything available like that for Confluence? I'd expect K15t's Scroll Versions to have that feature, but I can't find it in their documentation.

Atlassian's template variables are a different feature. What I'm looking for is covered by https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-3999.

Hi Robert,

Our Easy Space Variables Add-on let you add variables on space level and use them on pages and blog posts. But you can't use them in the page- or blog post titles.

Simply integrate the variables into your text flow without the added bulk of a macro. On top the Confluence search finds replacement values as well as the variables themselves.

I do not know the products you mentioned. If you are looking for a feature to define properties at space or page level you could have a look at the (commercial) projectdoc Toolbox. These properties can be accessed from any any page and used to select pages using queries.

Using Space Properties is an introduction to space properties to find out if this is really what you are looking for.

ConfiForms looks like a more advanced version of Confluence template variables.
