Jira ad removal

Bear Humphreys

Hello.

How do I turn off this ad for Jira that has suddenly appeared in a nice easy to accidentally click place in my boards menu?

Where is the 'OK, I looked but I'm not interested, please remove now' option?

I pay for the Trello I need. Once I have looked at the Jira offer and decide I don't want it, it should be dismissible.

Same goes for the constant Premium upgrade badge.

Thank you.

Hi There! I'm Augusto from the Atlassian Team.

Understandably, it sounds like these aren't relevant to you. I'll be sure to pass on this feedback to our product team, and express that there should be some way to dismiss the ads.

We already have a Feature Request on this, and I just included your post there to increase its traction within the development team. We apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.

You can check the request at: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-603

Agree. If there is not a way to get rid of this I'm ending my subscription.

+1 disappointed user.

I'm not paying for unwanted advertisement to clutter the tool I'm using to try to be organized. It's ridiculous. Please fix this asap.

+1 - another disappointed paying user who will cancel their subscription over this if the ads continue to be intrusive.

Another disappointed paying user. I don't know why this issue shows as "answered", since the ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-603 is in the "Gathering Interest" stage, which I interpret as "being ignored until enough people complain".

It is unresolved, not answered. Go vote for this ticket.

I'd like to add feedback about this feature. It's absolutely obnoxious. I'm trying to work, right click to archive and JIRA! Did you know about JIRA? DIsmiss? You could make this a JIRA thing.

I'm super never going to even look at what it is strictly because of this advertising behavior even if it's something that could have benefit. You guys did this to me on my paid account, it's no longer a paid account.

Also in the middle of typing this, you jammed a survey, cutting off my typing for feed back. Yeah, you're going to get some.

Welcome!
