Changing Issue Type Scheme for many projects at once

I have to migrate a bunch of projects off the default issue type screen scheme. Is there any way for me to do it in one go? I've got 209 projects on that scheme, many dead & closed but some active.

As it turns out there is no such option/feature on JIRA, you will have to this merge one by one.
