Starting from Confluence 4.1.9, the signup.vm file no longer resides in the confluence folder in the installation directory. In order to customize the signup page, you would need to perform the following tasks:
* Browse through <Confluence Installation>/confluence/WEB-INF/classes/com/atlassian/confluence/setup
* Unzip atlassian-bundled-plugins.zip and locate confluence-easyuser-admin-x.x.x.jar
* The signup.vm file is located in templates folder. Please refer to this link for a guide on how to edit files within JAR Archives.
