Search for issues with diacritics

Question

Hi there,

I would like to ask about the search options in the issues search. We are using the Czech language which has diacritics but often, we do not write it when creating issues.

When searching for the issue, we would like both options to be searched - with and without diacritics. For example, if I am searching for the issues containint the word "vypocet", I want to find both issues containt "vypocet" and "výpočet". Is that possible without the need of typing in vypocet OR výpočet ?

Hi John, thanks for that but this goes behind my understanding - it doesnt seem like a simple plugin to add to allow search both with/without diacritics.
