How do I download JIRAs into EXCEL instead of creating PDF?

Question

How to download JIRAs into an EXCEL instead of a PDF?

Aron Gombas _Midori_ · Answer

The built-in "Excel CSV" export option works okay, although importing the plain text CSV to Excel may require some clean-up work.

If using an app is an option for you, then the Better Excel Exporter app can produce native Excel field (XLSX file format) with literally two clicks:

(Discl. it is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)

Hi Shelia,

Welcome to the community!

Here's a quick way of exporting issues directly to Excel:

* Go to "Filters" in the top navigation bar of Jira.
* Select "View all issues".
* Click the "Export issues" button above the issue list.
* Choose one of the "Excel CSV" options.

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like:

Hope this helps!
