Embedding YouTube videos into confluence

Jackson Groves

Is it possible to embed a YouTube video or other video hosted on a remote server into a Confluence wiki page? If so, how do you do it? Essentially, I would like to share the same video on multiple pages without having to attach the video to each individual page.

Hi Jackson,

This can be done with the Widget Connector Macro. To add a video do the following:

1) Create a page to which you want to add the video

2) In the toolbar click the plus-button and then choose Other Macros

3) Search for Widget Connector

4) Paste the URL, define the size en click Insert

Now the video should appear in your page (you can test with preview).

Hope this helps?!
