A required field not in the Screen is expected to be filled while creating an issue in Jira 4.5

A field "Security Plan " is made required in the ' CR-Create Issue screen' for an Issue Type - " CR".

This field "Security Plan " is not included in the 'WR-Create Issue screen' for an Issue Type "WR".

Both the issue Types ( CR & WR ) are for the same project and belong to the same Field configuration.

The field "Securiy Pan " is a required field for ' CR-Create Issue screen' and should not be visible for 'WR-Create Issue screen'. But the error is when i create issue for the WR- using the 'WR-Create Issue screen'. It is execting the value for "Securiy Pan " field.

Please let me know where the problem is.

It does not depend on the screen. It depends on the field configuration associated with the issue type. So you need to define two different field configurations and associated them to the issue types in the field configuration schemes
