What could cause an access denied on password after a JIRA time out ?

I have a client who says that his password gives him access denied after JIRA browser session times out. What could be causing this. I have not found anyone else who is experiencing this. But he says he has no stored passwords and has cleared all his cached data. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Don

It honestly does seem like a stored password issue to me. If it is not, one might assume that this issue should also occur when using another browser. Perhaps you can validate this is some way with the user?
