Trying to set up two-step authentication for my Trello account and none of the 3 options are working

Anna Gateley-Stanton

I downloaded Google authenticator app, but couldn't figure out how to get it set up with the limited instructions.

Haven't been able to figure out how to get a security key (again, limited instructions and no one to ask).

I love the text option (last choice). When I enter my phone number and hit Text Me the Code, nothing happens...no code is ever received.

I'm doing this on my laptop (not my phone), so I'm not sure if that is the probem or not. I need two-step vericiation on my Trello account, but this feels impossible.

Hi Anna,

Thanks for reaching out!

Since all Trello accounts are linked to Atlassian accounts, you'll need to set up 2FA on your Atlassian account.

To do so, follow the steps here: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-two-step-verification-for-your-atlassian-account/.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, and we'll be happy to help.

All the best,

Lara
