We want to add the value/option in the already created custom field ‘Office code’.
For e.g., We are having a custom field named ‘Office code’ (Field type : Single list single choice ) in which the office code are present let say - A,B,C and D are the options/offices present in the office code custom field and we want to add 2 more options (E and F) in that custom filed . As of now, we are adding the office code manually. i.e., Path → Administrator → Issues → Custom field → Office code → Edit → Add value → Done.
But instead of manually adding the options to the custom field(office code) we need to add options using Jira API.
Please help us with API details on how to update the options in a custom field.
