How can I change the state to "assigned" automatically

Hello,

I've a question. I have a workflow where the fist state is open and in this state the issue is not assigned. Then, when is assigned it changed to the state "Assigned".

The problem is when a issue is assigned directly in the first screen of create issue. I need to move to the state "Assigned" because now is in the state "open" and is not correct. How can I do that?

Find or write a Listener that can listen for "issue assigned" and move the issue through the workflow when it detects this case.

The script runner plugin can provide a structure to do this within, to save you having to write a whole plugin, and I think there might actually be a built-in one to do this.
