Unable to export users from database

Question

hello!  I'm following the instructions located at

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+to+Export+User+Data+to+CSV+in+Confluence

but I continue to receive this error

"mysql> select id, user_name, lower_first_name, lower_last_name into outfile '/tmp/confusers.csv' FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '"' LINES TERMINATED BY '
' from cwd_user;

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'confluenceuser'@'localhost' (using password: YES)"

I'm unsure of where to go from here.

Doesn't appear to have worked?

mysql> GRANT ALL ON confluencedb.* TO 'confluenceuser'@'localhost';

Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)

mysql> select id, user_name, lower_first_name, lower_last_name into outfile '/tmp/confusers.csv' FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '"' LINES TERMINATED BY '

Hi Shane, From the error, it seem that confluenceuser does not have enough permission to select in the database. Why don't you try granting the permission of the database to confluenceuser'@'localhost. GRANT ALL ON .* TO 'confluenceuser'@'localhost'; Kind Regards, Jing Hwa
