I am understanding worklogs as daily timesheets. I want to ensure that after a certain period of time the older logs get locked for any changes. e.g. work logs as old as 7 days should not be available for modification. Is there a way I may apply this rule for the worklogs in JIRA? Thanks.
We found tempo plugin as option to support us with locking period functionality so that we may restrict people from entering timesheets for the locked period. At the same remove the worklog permissions from users of JIRA.
It should be a base functionality of Jira, but for such small feature we have to pay extra. We have assumed during purchase that we will get such small things in base package. Now we need to re-think.
