problems with permissions and Application Access

Good afternoon.
Upgraded jira dc without me from 9.1.1 to 9.12.4 and the guys said some permissions message popped up and they ignored it.
now if I go to the Application Access tab there is nothing there.

so in any project, the permissions is empty.

everything is working, but I would like to fix it.
Has anyone run into this?

We ran into exactly the same problem after updating Jira from 9.4.x to 9.12.13.

Do you see any errors in either javascript or http requests when opening those pages?

I would expect there to be a 500 with either an error, or a more detailed error with stacktrace in atlassian-jira.log

Can't say I'd see this in particular before, but when pages fail to load there is typically a problem with the data being "loaded", such as unique key constraints, null pointers, etc. So based off that stacktrace we can probably figure out more.

Hmm, well warning shouldn't be it but those pages don't use REST so maybe something using wrong log level internally could still be causing it.

Neither "t.c.o.p.t.a.ao.*" or "r.t.j.plugins.reminder.*" don't seem very native to me. Are those custom(user-installed) plugins? If so, can you try disabling them to see if the pages behave anywhere differently?

My first thought from this (and pretty much the only one without an actual error) is that some plugin could be doing something bad in the background. A plugin with key matching those packages most likely.

So we figured it out, in our case it was the "Atlassian Hipchat Integration Plugin" which was blocking Application access and Project Permissions screens. Disabling it fixed the issue right away.
