For environments not in AOD there is a perfect plugin for this, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.jira.cot. But if you must use AOD is there other creative solutions to create linked issues to an issue on transitions, and/or to copy parts of an issue to a new issue?
We ended up moving from onDemand.
Does OnDemand have webhooks? If yes, you can use the webhook to call a REST endpoint that does what you want.
Of course you have to develop your own REST endpoints.
