Custom notifications stoped working after JIRA 5.1 upgrade

I am trying to figure out why my custom notifications stopped working after we upgraded to 5.1 JIRA from 4.1.2. All out of the box notifications working just fine.

Maybe they were coming from a plugin? Or your customizations are not compatible with 5.1?

they are not coming from a plug in. It's a custom named generic event with distribution to various groups.

Hi Karl,

u mean email notifications ?

Did you created new velocity templates for that customization ? (are they in templates folder ?)
All events, listeners and notifications schemes are set right for these templates ?
If these notifications was proccessed by Jelly, make sure Jelly service is on.
Try to look to the logs if can you find something useful

yes email notifications. they are not coming from a plug in or any custom templates. It's a custom named generic event with distribution to various groups. event is fired through the workflow. for example "Fire a RM Change Notification Event event that can be processed by the listeners."

The migrations shouldn't take away any such changes.However, look at the notification scheme to confirm.

What template is used for the mail?

And that event is listed in events ? Try to look in email-template-id-mappings.xml .
