How do I create Hexagons in Mermaid with Markdown app in Confluence

    id1{{This is the text in the box}}
```

Her is an example of what should produce a hexagon.  But when I submit the code in markdown I get an error: Syntax error in text mermaid version 10.6.1.

Here is the Atlassian app I'm using:
Markdown, HTML, PlantUML, LaTeX, Diagrams, Open API, Mermaid | Atlassian Marketplace

I've tested with other shapes but cannot seem to get this to work for the hexagon.

 

Any suggestions?
