Unable to install Bitbucket Cloud Migration Assistant for Server

Question

On both our Jira and Confluence instance the Cloud Migration Assistant was system installed, however when i have gone onto Bitbucket it isn't.

I have gone onto Marketplace to install the Cloud Migration Assistant version for Server but it doesn't give me the option to install.

How do I install the Cloud Migration Assistant for Bitbucket Server in order to continue with our migration to Cloud?

This sounds like the BCMA is having an issue communicating with Bitbucket cloud. Your server is likely behind a firewall and not exposed to the internet, and if yes, you may need to allowlist our IPs:

Hi Syahrul,

When i click on the link provided it doesn't bring up an install option for Server. I did manage to go into the version history and download the Server version from there, which i hope is correct.

However when i installed it and click on the 'Cloud Migration Assistant' it just brings up a pop-up error message to say it is unable to communicate with Server. If i then click on 'Create migration' it just continuously spins when trying to find our Cloud site, which i assume is to do with the communication issue. We fulfil the prerequisites in terms of our version being up to date etc.

I have someone checking the logs to see if there is any further information around the error but failing that, would it be best to uninstall and reinstall that version i downloaded or is there another way of installing a version of Cloud migration assistant that works with Server? Would the Cloud Migration Assistant available for data centre work for sever if that was installed?
