Autoamtion to add text to the description

Hello together

I want to create an automation step to add a given text to de existing description.

I treid with "Edit issue" and the field description but the text will be overwritten. I need to add another text to the existing one.

And is it possible to add a picture to the attachments?

Hi Christian,

In the space for the edit of the Description field, put in:

{{issue.description}} - "your text"

where "your text" is the part you want to add to the original value. 

This will keep the original value of the field and then tack on your text from the rule.
