Jira Issue macro loads html for formatted custom field

Hi,

When I am using a Jira issue macro in confluence, its showing wrong format in case of text Custom fields.

However, in case of system fields (for example Description and Environment field in the attached screenshot) its showing the exact formatted text as in Jira... this issue only happens when it is a Custom field (for example Resolution Details and Text2 field in the attached screenshot), its showing HTML format.

Below are the exact values in for both ethe custom fields:

Resolution Details: REsolution done

Text2: Details: Test

Current confluence version: 8.5.5

I am encountering the same issue. Custom field in Jira with carriage return is showing up in Confluence with carriage return represented as the HTML equivalent for a "breaking return". Refer to image for display differences. HELP!

You need to update Confluence to a version that has the fix listed in the ticket I mentionned.
