How to add an issue type assignment to an active workflow scheme ?

Hello,

I have added a new issue type which must be linked with a specific workflow. I have 40 projects that use the workflow scheme. All I want is to add the assignment (issue type -> workflow) to this scheme.

How do I do that ?

Note : I would not really appreciate to go through a serie of switching scheme for each project, I would honestly take it as an insult from Atlassian to their users

We have almost 1700 projects to change the workflow scheme.Anything can be done in the database side?
