Images on page showing up dark instead of actual color

The image we had designed for our page is showing up very dark and almost greyed out. The visibility is awful.

How do you get the image to appear with the colors actually displayed properly?

Also, are you adding it as a header image or attaching it as a regular image on the page?

Also, are you using the dark theme in Confluence? I tried this when it first became available, but a lot of my images and custom emojis looked really bad, so I just use the light theme.
