Hi Community Members and Leaders,

 

Good Day.

I have facing a challenge while selecting a start date in the Card to auto-populate the dates in checklist.

Is there any possibility or a alternative logic to do this condition in the Trello automation?

 

Below is the problem statement:

Official Start Date
[Select Date]* > Calendar Popup option 
*When we select a start date, it should auto-populate the dates in the checklist.

Hi Abdullah,

Thanks for raising this question!

While it's not currently possible to copy the start date to a checklist item via an Automation rule, I can suggest you use Custom field instead. This would allow you to set a trigger to when a date in the custom field is set and them populate it to every checklist item on the card. 

This rule would look similar to this one: 

when custom field "Start date" is set, for each checklist item, set the item due on the date in custom field "Start date"
