JSM Data Center: Automated Slack message when Priority is increased

Question

Hi all!

How can I create automation specifically when the priority of an issue is increased (not just changed)?

I'm familiar with how to build project automation that notifies when a value in a specific field changes, but I'm not sure how to capture specific changes without detailing every combination of priority increases.

I confirmed with what @Mark Segall suggested.  The condition that you want use is "Advanced compare condition" -

Hi @Ashley Honeycutt - You should be able to do this.  I just tried it in my test environment and it worked:

* TRIGGER: Field Value Changed (Priority)
* CONDITION (Advanced)* {{changelog.Priority.toString}}
Greater Than
{{changelog.Priority.fromString}}
