Form submissions fail to hide the screen in IE8 on WinXP

In workflow transition screens, submitting the form grays out the button and a little animated gif appears, but the screen never disappears. If the page is then refreshed, the data is updated as expected.

Thanks for the reply. I figured out the problem was the Conditions Validator plugin. When I disabled it everything worked fine.

Hi Joshua,

At this first moment is a bit difficult to be sure of what is the root cause to this issue, I'd suggest that you check the following

Check if this behavior occurs when using other browsers
Check if it occurs in other computers with the same configuration
Check whether there is a proxy in front of JIRA. In case yes, test if the same behavior occurs bypassing the proxy
