Search cannot show exact content

Question

Hi,

We use Confluence server 7.13.0. Recently, Search cannot show correct content periodly. After rebuild "Content Indexing" in confluence administration, the search will return normal. However after some days, the search will be failed again, you have to redo "Content Indexing" rebuilding periodly.

Can anyone help what is wrong for the system, and how to recover it?

Thanks for the update, and sorry to hear that the issue keeps happening again. Here the last steps to test I can recommend is to trigger the error and then generate a Support Zip to check the logs and see if there is an error that could share more insights on this issue.

* To do so, go to  > General Configuration > Troubleshooting and support tools  > Create support zip.

Other than that, I would suggest contacting Atlassian to review this situation (especially before the EOL for server).

Thanks for your suggestion.

I just tried however it looks the issue still there.

It's strange the search content will show normally only in one week before Tuesday, however after Tuesday all search will return 0 results, we have to manually rebuild "Content Indexing" every Tuesday to show the correct results.

Have your team also tried a reindex from scratch? Perhaps this could help.
