Automation of Start and end dates of Sub-Task starting from parent tasks´ due date

Question

Hi Community,

On the way of automating my board, I have been trying one thing that is for now not working yet but am sure the issue is in a small detail.

In short, I have Issues with Issuetype "Task". I want to automate:

* Using a manual trigger:* Create 1 Sub-task
* For that Sub-task, take the value of the "Due Date" of the parent task and set:* Start date Sub-Task = Parent Task Due Date - 5 Business days
* End date Sub-Task = Parent Task Due Date - 9 Business days

Is anyone able to help out?

Thanks for your Reply. Good point, here´s a screenshot of what I have right now.

Unfortunately, it does not work yet and returns nothing, something is wrong.

The documentation always states "now" as for today as reference. I would like to take as reference the Due Date from the parent task and then calculate with MinusBusinessdays.

Anyone can spot the mistake?

For a question like this, please post an image of your complete automation rule, images of any relevant actions / conditions / branches, an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution, and explain what is not working as expected.  Those will provide context for the community to offer ideas.  Thanks!
