Sending notification mails after adding the related issues through issue linkage

We have a requirement that we need to send the notification mail when the related issues are added through issue linkage. 

We added a notification 'Updated' in Notification scheme through configuration, the notification mails are being sent for any other updates but it is not covering when the related issues are added through issue linkage.

And we are not hosting on the cloud and this functionality to be achieved without any third party add on.

Hi @Sandesh TM,

out of the box in the notification scheme, this is not supported at the moment. You can add your vote and voice to the two open requirements about this topic: JRASERVER-65906 and JRASERVER-8505.

As a workaround, you can use Jira Automation and listen for the Issue Linked trigger. Then you can send an email to the people you want.
