Newly created space does not show up on Site Spaces list in Confluence 5.8.4

Question

Good Morning,

I recently created a new space in Confluence 5.8.4. It is listed on the Dashboard and is included in the Space directory but when I login as the admin and look at the list of Site Spaces it is not listed there.

Any thoughts?

In my view it could one of the following:

* You need to reindex as sometimes indexing is delayed
* Admin does not have permissions for this space.
