Python jira create a issue in epic

I create a  epic,such as :"Prj001" in jira ,then I want to create a story under this epic ,how can I realize with python

Welcome to the community.

When you using the Atlassian Python API package, you can do this:

fields = {
   'summary': 'New story',
   'Epic Link': 'PRJ-1' }

jira.issue_create(fields)

 Where PRJ-1 is the key of the Epic you mentioned.
