Locating previous import configuration file

Question

Would anyone happen to know if its possible to locate a previously used import configuration file for JIRA? The only copy of the file that was previously used has been lost and, as I am not the original creator of the file, I do not have the original knowledge to easily recreate the file.

I'm assuming a temp copy of the file could possibly be located on the server but have not had any luck confirming if this is the case. All of the documentation I have been able to find so far is focused on the creation of a new configuration file (or resolving any issues with creating one).

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hi @numer24 ~ it's a longshot but if the original creator is still active, reach out to them to determine if they saved the config.  Or, if their workstation is still active, maybe you or someone in IT with the appropriate access might be able to browse their folders to find the config file.  It's a long shot but you might get lucky!  🍀🤞🏻

ok so then you would have had to save and kept the config which I assume you did not based on your post. :-(

Yes, there is a button to browse my file system to locate and select the configuration file.
